I’m not too keen on sweet desserts, hence I’ve cut down the sugar in this recipe. You can add extra sugar if you want the cookies to be sweeter. Sugar also helps to make the cookies have that perfect ‘crusted’ tops 🙂
With only four simple ingredients, you can whip up a good, delicious batch of shortbread biscuits! These biscuits are one of my favourite biscuits. Its buttery flavour with sugar goodness and a hint of salt is a perfect combination for a classic shortbread.
Tip: ensure that the height of your dough is thicker than normal cookies, so you can have that beautiful soft texture.
